  • Non-CDL Delivery Driver

    Job Description:

    The Delivery Driver is responsible for servicing our customers by safely and efficiently delivering orders from our warehouse to our customers located throughout the island of Oahu. The Delivery Driver is one of the most important members of our team as they are the face of Koha that represents us to our customers.


    Essential Functions:

    • Safely drive company truck to make deliveries to customers
    • Unload products at customer site in accordance with customer guidelines
    • Pick up customer payments and product returns as needed
    • Complete paperwork and obtain customer signatures as needed
    • Maintains and safely operates company equipment including delivery truck
    • Establish good relationships with customers
    • Communicates with dispatch and management regarding any issues or opportunities

    Desired Skills and Qualifications:

    • Ability to use delivery software on tablets preferred
    • Excellent communication skills, including speaking and listening
    • Ability to follow safety standards and protocols
    • Able to lift/carry up to 50 pounds regularly
    • Current driver's license
    • Clean driver traffic abstract
    • Must be 21 years or older
    • Able to pass DOT Physical Exam to get DOT Medical Card
    • AAFES and DBIDS clearance is a plus
    • Military delivery experience is helpful
    • Education:
    • High school or equivalent

    Pay:

    • $17 - $23 per hour

  • Processing Staff

    Job Description:

    The Food Processing Staff will assist in duties assigned by the Processing Manager including but not limited to preparing, making, and packaging of various finished food products for resale.


    Essential Functions:

    • Follow recipes to produce and package food products to company standards
    • Ensure selected ingredients are of quality and accurately weighed to produce finished products
    • Thoroughly clean and inspect bottles and containers to be used for final packaged products
    • Properly label all products to comply with legal and safety regulations
    • Accurately count and maintain inventory levels
    • Maintain clean and sterile processing areas in compliance with an HACCP Program

    Desired Skills and Qualifications:

    • Great and effective communication skills
    • Basic mathematical skills
    • Attention to detail
    • Ability to follow safety standards and protocols
    • High school diploma or GED preferred
    • Previous food processing and food safety handling experience helpful

  • Retail Merchandiser

    Job Description:

    The Retail Merchandiser is responsible for servicing our retail customers by merchandising and maintaining our displays to ensure a positive shopping experience for their customers.


    Essential Functions:

    Maintaining and building our product presence at the retail stores to include the following:

    • Build, change, remove displays as needed
    • Stock, rotate, restock (from back stock) and maintain assigned shelf space
    • Be mindful of expiration dates and damaged products
    • Maintain correct shelf and display labels and signage
    • Ensure the proper level of stock is maintained and reorder products as needed
    • Communicate to Retail Sales Manager of any issues or recommendations discovered while at the customer location
    • Maintain customer relationships with vendors, store and department managers

    Desired Skills and Qualifications:

    • Excellent communication skills, including speaking, listening and writing
    • Strong time management skills, including planning and prioritizing workloads
    • Attention to detail
    • Friendly, positive attitude
    • Reliable vehicle with current insurance required

    Pay:

  • Retail Sales Manager

    Job Description:

    The Retail Sales Manager will play a critical role in the growth of new business and territory development. They will lead the Retail Sales Team to maintain relationships with the local community and our partners to ensure customer satisfactory and achieve company's sales operations. 


    Essential Functions:

    Maintaining and building our product presence at the retail stores to include the following:

    • Assist the Director of Retail Sales to meet or exceed company's financial objectives
    • Review and analyze sales and revenue reports to project sales and determine profitability 
    • Assist in preparing bids and proposals for potential clients and negotiating when needed
    • Maintain current knowledge of market/trends to develop or improve marketing and promotional strategies to meet sales targets and attract business
    • Manage, mentor, and motivate the Retail Sales Team to meet sales targets/goals
    • Identify any issues, handle customer complaints and/or suggestions and provide solutions 
    • Ensure a full understanding of all store communications including product information, advertising, promotions, and other marketing initiatives
    • Utilize the use of customer portals to stay updated on new items and promotions
    • Work with cross-functional teams to research and identify new products and develop strategies for customer execution 
    • Perform other duties as assigned

    Desired Skills and Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Finance (or related field), or 5 years of retail sales experience
    • At least 1 year of Supervisory or Managerial experience
    • Familiarity with customer portals
    • Self-motivated and ability to work in a team
    • Results-driven with strong analytical skills
    • Excellent sales and customer service skills, with proven negotiation skills
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills
    • Strong working knowledge of management best practices
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software

    Pay:

    • $60,000 - $75,000 per year

  • Retail Sales Representative

    Job Description:

    The Retail Sales Representative will sell and maintain Koha Foods products to businesses in a specific territory.

     

    Essential Functions:

    • Visit and make orders for your stores weekly and manage any credits. Merchandise back stock.
    • Develop and adhere to a call schedule.
    • Presents all new products to your stores as soon as New Product Announcements and/or samples are available to gain space. Knows selling points and features of all products.
    • Secure displays or secondary locations for new items or items on promotion.
    • Investigates and resolves customer problems immediately.
    • Maintain Store plan-o-grams and schematics to maximize sales.
    • Assigns sales order delivery dates in accordance with the warehouse delivery schedule.
    • Communicates with Sales manager and Director of Retail sales on any issues.
    • Knowledgeable of the competition's products and space. Communicates competitors' new products, shelf space, or fixtures in a timely manner.
    • Ensures work responsibilities are covered when absent.
    • Works with Merchandising team: Communicate any new items or new displays, assist merch, clean.
    • Assists store accounts with resets.
    • Assists in supporting and training new Sales staff.
    • Participates in annual inventory, warehouse sale, and other company events as needed.
    • Follows company policies and procedures.
    • Observes safety and security procedures.
    • Weekly sales logs
    • Other duties as assigned.

  • Warehouse Personnel

    Job Description:

    Warehouse Personnel are responsible for the receiving, storing and distribution of all materials and products within the warehouse.


    Essential Functions:

    • Receive incoming product by unloading trucks/containers with
    • Check all received products for damages, shortages/overages, and/or other discrepancies
    • Notifies managers of any quality or quantity issues
    • Sorts and restocks items on racks, shelves or pallets 
    • Reads customer orders, shipping orders or requisitions to determine items to be moved, gathered, distributed and/or shipped
    • Stage and package finished orders for loading
    • Load orders into delivery trucks/vans
    • Assist in the counting of physical inventory
    • Operate forklift and/or pallet jack
    • Maintains safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, pallet and work stations neat and clean (sweep, dust and mop)

    Skills:

    • Communicate effectively with others
    • Standard English grammar and usage
    • Basic math skills
    • Time management
    • Attention to detail
    • Experience with Warehouse equipment including forklift and pallet jack

    Education:

    • High school diploma or equivalent experience

    Pay:

    • $16 - $20 per hour
